Everyone on earth should have access to safe and affordable drinking water. Water scarcity affects more than 40 percent of people around Fort Portal City, and that number is projected to go even higher as a result of climate change. Due to poor waste dispose as most of the waste finds it’s way in water bodies that provide domestic water, as Teri Foundation Ltd we stand firm in sensitizing the public about the effect of poor waste dispose and water quality, members of the community are trained on proper waste disposal, recycling and upcycling, reclamation of wetlands and other water bodies, detaching blocked water and sewage channels, distribution and repairing of boreholes to communities with water scarcity and tree planting along water bodies.
